Week of 6-7-2010
The Electric Boiler Feedpump blew a couple of fuses and Mike finished the
Sunday run with the duplex pump. Dave Peterson found that the pump turned
freely and did not appear to have any grounded wiring. He replaced the
fuses, checked the current and found everything fine. We are not sure why
it tripped but are considering changing the heater overloads (see NOTE from
Dave).
Minnehaha has been taking passengers for a week. The first week or two for us is always the test for Minnehaha running full days after sitting all winter. I am pleased to say that Minnehaha has been running beautifully. Thanks to all of our volunteers who cleaned out the steam engine this winter and those that dod cosmetic work we are all pleased to announce that the season is pushing on as usual.
Thats all for this week. Check out our schedule and come on out to ride Minnehaha!
